Funeral services for Paul Emerson Hart, 81, of Tyler, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Broadway Church of Christ with Nat Ayers officiating.

Cryptside services will be at 3:00 P.M. in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Paul passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, in Whitehouse.

He was born on August 14, 1933, in Dallas to the late Jesse Marvin and Noval Dora Persons Hart. Paul worked for the Texas and Pacific Railroad and worked for American Airlines...

Paul passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, in Whitehouse.

He was born on August 14, 1933, in Dallas to the late Jesse Marvin and Noval Dora Persons Hart. Paul worked for the Texas and Pacific Railroad and worked for American Airlines from 1968 to retirement in 1995. He and his family lived on Long Island, New York, from 1963 to 1967 to help establish the church and moved back to Texas in 1967 to the present. He also worked for Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants for almost five years. Paul was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Virginia Hart, of Tyler; sons, Les Hart and wife Pam, of Kentucky, Marvin Hart and wife Debra, of Lindale, and Ted Hart and wife Jennifer, of Wichita, Kansas; daughter, Sherry Hart, of Austin; grandchildren, Mike, Lezley, Jillian, Amanda, Walker, Annalise, and Russell; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Hart.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
